Cathryn’s place was everything we hoped for and more – quiet, relaxing, spacious, incredible view, dog and toddler friendly, and a short drive to town and sites. Our host was impeccable with communication and ensured we were comfortable. The star link internet also meant we could finish some work tasks before logging for the weekend. Waking up to wallabies nibbling at the grass outside our window topped off the whole experience.

A very comfortable stay with lots of generous and thoughtful touches. A short drive to town whilst being very peaceful. Would highly recommend.

Tenterfield is my original home town and Sunday at Mirumiru will be my home away from home when I visit again.
House furnishings are spot on, everything has been thought of and the beds are beautifully comfortable - prepare for a peaceful sleep waking to beautiful nature. I’m hooked and will certainly be back. Cathryn”s communication was spot on from the start which made the booking process so easy. Until next time!

Beautiful property- Instant relaxing feeling when you enter this wonderfully restored Queenslander as the interior is of quality, very homey and has beautiful personal touches for the guests (card, wine..). Got an early free check-in as well. Wish we stayed longer!

Another outstanding stay at Sunday cottage. A beautiful holiday with the family and gorgeous location. Cathy makes every effort to ensure you are well loved and utterly spoilt throughout your stay. Local wineries are a must and stunning location. A home with the greatest heart. We can’t wait to return again!

The house has been so lovingly and painstakingly restored and it was beautifully appointed with a lot of thought put into making the whole house feel homely and stately all in one. There are a lot of extra special touches including complimentary wine, port, chocolates and many condiments and other food items that we wouldn't normally bother to bring from home or buy at the shops once on holiday. There are indoor and outdoor games available as well as wifi, tv and Netflix if wanted. Cathryn was a wonderful host - attentive, great communication and her love for this property was quite evident. The location was perfect for us - just out of town with lovely views towards Mt Mackenzie plus plenty of bird life around the property and even a kangaroo jumping down the side fence. It was close to all town facilities and a short drive to the many National Parks we visited.

Incredibly peaceful and comfortable stay at this house. Cath our host has created such an immaculate and stunning home that sits on a peaceful property surrounded by gums, mountain views and paddock. Air is fresh, the fire wood was there on arrival, the house cosy and spotless - we enjoyed a glass of port around the outdoor fire pit and loved the well stocked country kitchen. This is one of my top stays to date. Thank you for the experience, this is the place to stay in Tenterfield.

Cathryn was an exceptional host, communication was excellent and I even got a courtesy message prior to our stay to tell me that it was going to be exceptionally cold (sub zero) during our stay and to prepare for it with warm clothes and extra fire wood. She also very generously provided us with extras to celebrate Christmas in July during our stay (Christmas pudding, chocolates, bonbons).

Our stay with Cathryn was absolutely divine! This is one of the most stunning homes we’ve had the pleasure of staying in and Cathryn has thought of every detail and left nothing to be desired. From slippers at the front door, to electric blankets and all sorts of kitchen goodies, we were utterly spoilt throughout our stay. We would return in a heartbeat. An amazing stay, not to be missed! Sunday is a beautifully restored and decorated house, it is very homely and comfortable and the kitchen facilities were above and beyond what I would expect to find in a holiday accommodation.

Sunday at Mirumiru was a comfortable, spacey home with an interesting back story. The views were spectacular and we used the fire pit to enjoy a wine and sunset looking at the mountains in the distance. Our dog Pirate was welcomed with bedding and dog dishes available too. The kitchen was so fabulous i wish i could"ve taken it home with me. Sunday at Mirumiru was located a perfect distance from town and perfect spot to get away from it all.

Cathryn’s place was very clean, beds were comfy and warm and had all the amenities we needed.

This beautiful pink Queenslander home was more beautiful than I could have imagined. As soon as we arrived we got the fire going and immediately felt warm and cozy. We can’t wait to visit again!

Such a beautiful space to gather with family and simply relax in front of the fireplace. The kitchen facilities were fab and incredibly comfortable beds. Loved sitting outside in the winter sunshine around the fire pit too. Cathryn was fabulous throughout the whole stay. Incredibly friendly and lovely to deal with 💜💜

Cathryn is very nice. She makes sure our check-in is smooth. She gives me a call immediately when I mistakenly try to open the wrong lockbox and tells me the correct one to open. The house is neat, and the kitchen is well-stocked. A comfy bed and fresh linen are always my priority when choosing accommodation, and Cathryn’s place delivers just that. We sleep comfortably and wake up happy. The overall stay is wonderful!

Absolutely love staying at Sunday! Such a beautiful house and we felt right at home. Everything was as described and Cathryn was so accommodating, providing many of the essentials we needed. Cathryn was extremely responsive and attentive to any questions or concerns we had. Would definitely recommend staying here, particularly if your looking for a private, peaceful getaway to the countryside.

Beautiful house and area. Cathryn and was very helpful, friendly and always a message away if needed. We loved every minute of our mid year getaway.

Lovely Airbnb experience. We stayed with our young kids and family and we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Our kids loved roasting marshmallows on the outside fire pit and playing bocce on the lawn at sunset. Stargazing at night time was A+. Cathryn was super friendly and responsive throughout our stay. We would definitely book again.

Absolutely incredible. We will definitely be coming back to this stunning farmhouse. Beautiful decor, rooms , views and hikes and wineries nearby. 10/10 Plus the host was incredible (as always … this is not our first time at Cathryn’s place. We have done the equally as good bubble tents before !!!)

Lovely cottage in a beautiful country setting looking over Mt McKenzie - yet still close enough to town to easily ride bikes in. Recently renovated, clean, well kitted out kitchen which suits us as we like to cook at home. Would stay again.

Sunday is clearly a labour of love and it shows throughout the house. The house has everything you need and more than you expect (loved the muesli). We will definitely return.

Our family loved every aspect of ‘Sunday’. Highlights were the wood fire, home made muesli, port and chocolates. The 100 year Queenslander has been lovingly restored and sits so beautifully in this cool climate setting.

A beautiful home with stylish but comfy furnishings. So peaceful and serene and the sky at night is something to behold. Plenty of room and so private. Highly, highly recommend.

Accommodation is great. Close to town but not in town. Host have great instructions and shared event info on what's happening in Tenterfield the weekend we visited.

I can't begin to describe how peaceful our family stay at MiruMiru was. The home is just beautiful, and really well laid out for a family of 5 (or more!). It was our first time to Tenterfield, and we found the location fantastic - plenty of local shops and parks to explore, wildlife everywhere, and overall just very calm and relaxing. If you are looking for somewhere to unwind, I highly recommend!

We had a very relaxing family rural getaway at Sunday. Everything was immaculate and beautifully decorated. Cathryn was on hand to answer all our queries - nothing was too much trouble.

This beautiful property exceeded my expectations, on top of the view the house was immaculate. This beautiful house had the fire place set and ready for us to light on arrival which along with great beds and fresh linen made it lovely and warm for our stay. With some amazing meals in the local restaurants we had the perfect winter getaway. Fully recommend this property for your next adventure.

Sunday at Mirumiru is an absolutely beautiful country home to getaway and relax. Only a short drive to town. Cathryn made sure our Christmas in July was just perfect by supplying Xmas tree and decorations. Very comfortable with warm bedding, electric blankets and oil heaters in each bedroom. Wood heater in the living area kept the house nice and warm. Well equipped kitchen with essentials like salt, pepper, spices, tea and coffee. Highly recommend this lovely renovated home.

We have just had a wonderful Xmas in July weekend at this beautiful house so close to Tenterfield but in a fantastic rural setting. The house comfortably accommodated our party of 9. Highly recommend.

Tenterfield is my favourite place, so are country farm houses, so this place ticks all the boxes. This is a beautiful renovated farm house. It’s close to town, but not too close. Quiet and peaceful.

Sunday at Mirumiru felt like home as soon we put our feet at the front door. Upon entering this beautiful old (but totally restored) farmhouse we all felt at home. There was 9 of us from Ballina Shire who wanted a weekend away for Xmas in July plus some walking and bike riding. We self catered our dinners using the well thought out kitchen and utensils but had a breakfast in town and visited a cafe that served the best fresh doughnuts. The beds are very comfortable, the lounge and dining room just the right size. The enclosed back and front verandahs are great spots for sitting enjoying the views with a hot drink or a cold drink ! Nice and close to Tenterfield but far enough away for star and satellite gazing . But by far the best was no TV screen , it made us focus on each other with discussion without distractions. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home.

Mirumiru was a beautiful place to stay on our recent trip to Tenterfield. Cathryn had made sure that the kitchen was equipped and stocked with supplies of essentials like oil, salt, pepper, spices, tea & coffee. Very comfortable and warm bedding, with electric blankets and oil heaters in each bedroom. Combustion style wood heater kept the living area nice and warm. Only a short drive into town where there are all of the essentials and quite a few cafes for breakfast and lunch options. Highly recommend!

Just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our stay. It was an amazing experience and so peaceful. We were nice and warm under the electric blanket even though it was a very chilly temperature that night. It was an amazing experience.
