Sunday is our much loved and restored Queenslander farmhouse accommodation here in Tenterfield that is ideal for a short break or a longer holiday. And a perfect alternative to a traditional B&B or hotel stay in the country! Built in the early 1900s and set on 15 acres, a stay here gives you and your loved ones an exclusive New England farm experience. Sunday is a comfy family home perfect for couples, friends and families – infants and children are welcome. Our indoor fireplace is the ideal place to relax after a long day of hiking or exploring Tenterfield and beyond. Enjoy dinner or stargazing on our outdoor deck or just look up at from the firepit outside. Our base nightly rate includes 4 guests and the use of 2 bedrooms. Additional charges apply for more than 4 guests and the use of the third bedroom and sofa beds. Sunday can host 6 guests across 3 bedrooms comfortably and another 4 guests in its sleepout. When we first saw our farm it was at the end of one of the region’s most crippling droughts – and during the bushfire season of 2019. The farmhouse was yet to be renovated – and was totally unliveable. And the farm itself was mostly bare dirt, with empty dams and hardly any grass to be seen. But the view was something that had us transfixed from the moment we saw it online and then in person. We looked at each other and knew that we could work our way through the thistles and termite-ridden buildings. In a matter of weeks, the farm was ours and our vision for re-generating a little part of Australia began.
